The additional music added in Dune 2000: Rise Of The Mercenaries is now available for free download. You can now feel free to listen to the tracks at any time, even when you are not playing the game.

We also polished our FAQ section and contact form so that it’s even easier for you to get the information you need to start playing the game.

As of this moment, we have officially launched our very own tunnel server on the CnC network. The server is the largest single instance on CnCNet, allowing for up to 1024 clients to connect at once. Update 1.6.1.9 is now available. This update is for bug fixes, no new features have been added.

• Fixed an issue where Airstikes and Death Hand Missiles would not launch correctly
• Fixed an issue where the configuration program would crash if the speed was set to the lowest setting in-game
• Updated game documentation (the latest documentation can always be found at https://gruntmods.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Dune-2000-Gruntmods-Edition-Manual.pdf)

We don’t usually release multiple updates in a single day, but we managed to resolve numerous issues that Windows 8 and 8.1 users were facing, these include:

• Fixed an issue with Windows 8 and 8.1 where the game would not run without compatibility mode
• Fixed an issue with Windows 8 and 8.1 where the game would not run in resolutions higher then 1280×1024
• Fixed an issue with Windows 8 and 8.1 where the game would run slowly
• Updated game documentation

This update is a minor update to fix small issues with the game. Latest changes include:

• Fixed an issue where mission 1 for each house would crash if the resolution was raised from default
• Updated documentation to reflect the changes made in the previous version
• Updated the launcher to prepare for the next update
